Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-03

This Privacy Policy explains what information ProvedHome ("we", "our", or "us") collects when you visit provedhome.com, how that information is used, and what rights you have over it. ProvedHome is operated as an independent publication from Vietnam, with a reader audience that primarily resides in the United States, the European Union, and the United Kingdom. We have therefore aligned this policy with the GDPR (EU/UK) and the CCPA/CPRA (California).

1. Who we are

ProvedHome is an independent affiliate publication that reviews home appliances and household products. You can reach the publisher at [email protected]. ProvedHome is not a registered legal entity in the EU or US; for inquiries from those regions, please contact us at the email address above and we will respond within 30 days as required by applicable law.

2. Information we collect

ProvedHome is a static website hosted on Cloudflare Pages. We do not operate user accounts, contact forms, comment systems, or newsletter sign-ups. Specifically:

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, automatically processes standard server-log data (IP address, user agent, request URL, timestamp) for security, abuse prevention, and to deliver the site to you. This processing is performed by Cloudflare under their own Privacy Policy. We do not have access to identifiable visitor logs from this layer.

3. Affiliate links

Links on this site to retailers such as Amazon, Etsy, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, eBay, The Home Depot, and Lowe's may be affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link and complete a purchase on the destination retailer's site, ProvedHome may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. The destination retailer is responsible for their own data collection once you click through to their site.

Affiliate links on this site are marked with the HTML attribute rel="sponsored" in accordance with Google's webmaster guidelines, and the relationship is disclosed in plain language on every review page and on our Affiliate Disclosure page.

4. Third-party services and content

The site loads or links to the following third-party services. Each service has its own privacy practices that govern any data they collect when you interact with them:

5. Children's privacy

ProvedHome is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions where that is the applicable age of digital consent). We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us through any means, please contact [email protected] and we will delete it.

6. Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)

Because ProvedHome does not directly collect or store personal information about visitors, in most cases there is no personal data of yours for us to act on. However, to the extent any data is processed on our behalf by service providers (such as Cloudflare server logs), if you are a resident of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom you have the following rights:

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] with the subject line "GDPR request" and a description of what you'd like us to do. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Your rights (CCPA / CPRA — California residents)

California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. ProvedHome does not sell or share your personal information with third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration. To submit a CCPA request, email [email protected] with the subject line "CCPA request".

8. Data retention

Because we do not directly collect personal data, we have no first-party visitor data to retain. Server logs maintained by our hosting provider are retained according to that provider's own retention schedule.

9. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. We rely on Cloudflare's standard security infrastructure, including DDoS protection and TLS encryption, to protect data in transit.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the services we use, or applicable law. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes (for example, the addition of analytics or any first-party data collection) will be highlighted on this page for at least 30 days before they take effect.

11. Contact

Questions about this Privacy Policy or data practices: [email protected].
