Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: 2026-05-03

In keeping with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255) and similar consumer-protection rules in other jurisdictions, ProvedHome discloses the following relationships in plain language.

How we make money

ProvedHome is a free-to-read, reader-supported publication. We do not charge for content, run display ads, or accept paid placements. Our sole monetization model is affiliate commissions: when a reader clicks an outbound link from one of our reviews to an online retailer and completes a qualifying purchase, the retailer pays us a small commission. You pay the same price either way — the commission comes out of the retailer's marketing budget, not your wallet.

Programs we participate in

ProvedHome is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

We may also participate in affiliate programs operated by Etsy, eBay, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, The Home Depot, Lowe's, and other retailers. We add or drop programs over time; this list is current as of the "Last updated" date above.

How we mark affiliate links

Editorial independence

Affiliate commissions do not influence which products we recommend, the rating we give them, or what we say about them. To protect that:

Prices and availability

Prices, availability, model numbers, and product details on retailer sites change frequently and independently of ProvedHome. We do not control those listings. Always verify the price, model, and seller on the retailer's site before completing a purchase.
